Wednesday May 11th Emergency Meeting to Discuss -Bill AB 289

YOUR FREEDOM TO USE, LEARN ABOUT AND CHOOSE HERBS AND NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS FOR YOURSELF IS AT RISK!  PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS FREEDOM. YOUR ATTENDANCE IS CRUCIAL to stop the criminalization of selling or recommending herbs and supplements. Show up on the 11th Also: We need your testimony in writing! 1- write a short letter (testimony) (sample below) why you oppose this bill... write as many letters as you wish..one objection per letter. You MUST HAVE on your letter..YOUR FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, PRECINCT. (Can be found on the voter registration web site:https://nvsos.gov/votersearch/index.aspx just put in your name and such and you will see your precinct. 2 - Send your letters to : letters@stopab289.com 3- Be ready on May 11th to show up at the Grant Sawyer Bld. 555 East Washington Ave. to protest bill #AB289 to stop the criminalization of selling or recommending herbs or supplements. 4- watch for further instructions to block Bill # AB289. that would, if passes criminalize things you are already doing. I am 61 years young, and had planned to live out my days here. I am a law abiding citizen, a voter and tax payer. I chose Alternative Health Care as my career. I am certified in my modality and AB289 would make me a criminal. I am licensed and certificated by my peers. The Federal Government already regulates us. Your passage of this bill will force me to move to another state, how is it legal or constitutional to deny me my right to work in my chosen profession.? STOP THIS BILL - VOTE NO A concerned and outraged resident of Nevada. The bill also includes "nutritional services, that is defined by the board" which also carries criminal penalties.
